How to Arrive

From the Asturias Airport (IATA code: OVD)

Take A-8 entrance to Aviles, follow the signs to Oviedo (from Gijón-Avilés-Santander).

From the A-66 Highway (Gijón-Avilés-Santander)

• Take the highway exit to Oviedo Centro.
• Entrance to Plaza de la Cruz Roja and drive straight ahead.
• Go straight ahead Víctor Chávarri Street and Manuel G. Conde Street.
• At Plaza del Carbayón turn to the left (leave to your right a big sculpture of a group of standing people).
• After the crossroad, take the first street on the right.

From the A-66 Highway (Mieres-León-Madrid)

• Take the exit to Oviedo Centro.
• Drive straight ahead Avenida de León to Plaza Castilla and go straight on.
• Go through Calvo Sotelo Street and Marqués de Santa Cruz Street.
• Go straight ahead and leave the park Campo San Francisco on the left. Turn on the left and, in the next crossroad, on the right.
• Take the Argüelles Street and the next street turn on the right.

Public Transport from the Airport (OVD) to Oviedo

Oviedo is about 27 miles from the Asturias Airport. Public transport (bus or taxi) can be used to arrive to Oviedo.

Taxi:

The estimated travel time is about 35 minutes to Gijón and 40 minutes to Oviedo. Taxi rates are approximately 45 euros.

Bus:

There are several buses a day that are scheduled to leave between 15 to 20 minutes after the scheduled flight arrival time. You have plenty of time to take these buses to Gijón and Oviedo. The bus rate to Gijón and Oviedo is approximately 5.5 euros.
