Jesse James Garrett

JJ. Garrett Jesse James Garrett is co-founder and President of Adaptive Path, a product experience design firm based in San Francisco.

Jesse's tools and concepts have been published in more than a dozen languages and his book The Elements of User Experience is considered one of the seminal works on user-centered design.

He is internationally recognized as a leading product experience thinker and has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Business Week. In 2006, Jesse received WIRED Magazine's Rave Award for Technology for coining the term Ajax.

Becky Gibson

B. Gibson Becky Gibson is a Senior Technical Staff Member in IBM’s Emerging Internet Technologies Group. Her focus is on Web Accessibility and making the Web usable for all. She is the Accessibility Lead for the Dojo Open Source Toolkit and is implementing the Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) specification within the Dojo core widget set. Becky has contributed to the W3C through work on WCAG 2 as well as the ARIA specifications.

She over twenty years of development experience and has worked on various versions of Lotus Notes as well as Lotus 1-2-3.

Jesús Gorriti

J. Goitirri Jesús Gorriti is one of the main promoters of desconferencia.com (Spain’s own unconference). Currently, he works as a freelance interaction designer.

Before that, he worked for idealista.com, and he spent two years at dnx in Madrid as consultant for clients such as Telefónica, Planeta, Cortefiel, Vodafone, or Yacom. From 2002 till 2006 he was based in Electronic Arts Vancouver’s studio.

Carlos Guadián

C. Guadián Carlos Guadián is an Autoritas Consulting's team component. He is focused on strategic innovation for Public Administration. He has been the person in charge of on-line communication, and web 2.0 for T-Systems. Also, he has been an early part of the e-government platform "Open ProPolis", and eGovernment working group chair at Clúster para la Innovación.

He is the coordinator for Las Ideas in Catalonia. Furthermore, he collaborates with the OAS's eGovernment forum, and he has promoted the "Las 1001 ideas" platform. He often takes part in events, and conferences as a speaker.

Ariel Guersenzvaig

A. Guersenzvaig Ariel Guersenzvaig is the interaction and graphic design Lead for Elisava University School of Design. And Director for Observatori del Disseny of FAD, a permanent and independent place for thinking about the design culture.

Furthermore, he is a lecturer at Elisava, and give lessons at IDEC - Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Also, he is a lecturer at the ESADE business school.

Since 1995, he designed, developed, and evaluated all kind of interactive applications. And, in 1996 he began to work on HCI for small and big companies, and non-profit organizations in Spain, Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, and Chile; alternating strategic definition issues with design and project management. In 2002 he joined Claro Studio, leaving SQR, in Amsterdam. In 2006, Claro and Multiplica were merged, and he was working for Multiplica until early 2008.

Wilco Jansen

W. Jansen After years of being a programmer Wilco has worked as project manager and IT manager. Discovered Joomla! when he was creating his own content management system, and never lost focus after then. Joined core team as development coordinator in September 2006 just helping to make Joomla! even better then it is already. Wilco is responsible for the overall organisation of Joomla! Development.

Wilco has a bachelor degree in business and information engineering and studied knowledge and information engineering at the Middlesex University in London.
